The European Research Council (ERC) under the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and
innovation program (grant agreement No. 741273) is supporting an Advanced Grant (AdG)
2016 project THUNDERR.
Recruiting PhD students to do research in this field:
“Detection, simulation, modelling and loading of thunderstorm outflows to design wind-safer and
cost-efficient structures”
Three PhD scholarships will be awarded within the Curriculum:
“Wind Science and Engineering” of the PhD Program in “Civil, Chemical and Environmental Engineering” (http://dottorato.dicca.unige.it/eng/siv/) at the Department of Civil, Chemical and Environmental Engineering (DICCA) of the Polytechnic School – University of Genoa.
