In June and July 2020, the NSF-sponsored NHERI SimCenter presents a series of free software training workshops for natural hazards engineers and researchers interested in mastering simulation software. Among the proposed sessions, there are two sessions on wind engineering that are being by members of AAWE:
Sessions include:
- June 24: webinar entitled “Predicting the wind pressure coefficient distribution on a high-rise building using computational fluid dynamics” with Stanford’s Catherine Gorlé.
- July 8-10, Wind Engineering with Uncertainty Quantification (WE-EQ) three-day course coordinated by Professor Ahsan Kareem.
