AAWE President Jon GalsworthyJon Galsworthy is a Principal of Rowan, Williams, Davies & Irwin Ltd. (RWDI), a Global Company specializing in modelling the earth’s climate and its effects on the built environment. Leading a group of over 100 talented engineers and professionals working across North America, the U.K. and Asia, Jon has been integral to the conception and completion of dozens of major buildings and structures. His capacity for high-level and hands-on consulting has made him an asset on some of the most demanding projects.

Mr. Galsworthy recently led a wind engineering team in developing several international super-tall buildings exceeding 600m in height, including the Jeddah Tower, Ping An Center and Wuhan Greenland Center. In North America, Mr. Galsworthy has led wind engineering studies on many of the super-slender residential towers in major cities across the continent. In addition his responsibilities with AAWE, Mr. Galsworthy is also active in building code committees in the United States (ASCE 7) and Canada (NBCC).
