2nd AAWE Workshop (2AAWE)
Marriott Beach Resort, Golf Club and Spa 400 South Collier Boulevard Marco Island, Florida 34145 The 2nd American Association for Wind Engineering Workshop (2AAWE) is the second in a series of workshops projected to be held every 18 months by the American Association for Wind Engineering. This Workshop will be held on Marco Island, Florida on August 18th to 20th, 2010. There will be an evening ice breaker on Wednesday, August 18th followed by a full day of presentations on Thursday, August 19th. The Workshop will conclude in the afternoon of Friday, August 20th.
This Workshop is an excellent opportunity for interaction between engineers, students, scientists, architects, planners and practitioners in the various fields of wind engineering and related disciplines. Members and non-members of the AAWE are welcome to attend and/or present at the 2AAWE. Topics covering all areas of wind engineering will be accepted for presentation at 2AAWE. Students should use this informal setting to present their current research and receive feedback from the attendees.
Please indicate at the bottom of the abstract if you also wish to prepare a 6 page paper for the Workshop proceedings (due August 2nd). The template for the abstract and paper may be downloaded here.
